Some bloggers asked me: Joliber how did you get your own domain name, http://www.mapiles.com/? They told me that they also want to have a domain that perfectly fits their sites . And in this regard, I’ll be posting the useful links for custom domain in blogger.com. I repeat this is only for bloggers who signed up with blogger.com or blogspot.com for that matter (If you are a wordpress user and you want me to help you, feel free to contact me. I am also running a website using wordpress. For now, this post is intended for blogger.com users).

But before signing up for a new domain, just remember the following:
1) For blogger.com custom domain, you have to pay $10 per year (but this includes hosting, email accounts and some more).
2) You will loose your previous Alexa Rank.
3) You will loose your previous Technorati Rank.
4) You will loose your previous Page Rank.
5) You will loose your some other ratings from social sites.

Now, do you still want to have a new domain? If yes, then go on, it’s your choice. Actually it’s a good choice indeed. The ratings you will loose will be eventually recovered as long as you are serious to make it on the internet world. At least now, you will have a more professional domain which you choose personally.
