Can Former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada Run Again For President in 2010 Elections?

After the Erap-Binay Tandem in 2010 Elections pronouncement, so many people are wondering if Former Joseph “Erap” Estrada run again in 2010. This is the reason why we decided to make a post about this. But don’t get us wrong, because we don’t know so much about the legal aspects of the issue and won’t comment about this. What we want here is that, to get some opinions from those who are knowledgeable about this national and political issue. Not every Filipinos are able to watch the news about Erap in 2010 especially those who are in abroad.
So, the information you’ll provide can somehow help some us to have grasp on the issue. We expect conflicting comments but we would love to hear from both sides. Please be generous enough to give us some insights. Although we know at the end, it’s still the Supreme Court of the Philippines who will have the final say.

I think erap can still run…in 1987 constitution art VII sec.4 it is clear that erap can still run..because of the following reasons:
1. erap did not finished the 6 year term.. it states (BY DIRECT VOTE FOR A TERM OF SIX YEARS)
2. (THE PRESIDENT SHALL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR RE-ELECTION)–before art VII sec.4 sated this, it mentioned first..(FOR A TERM OF SIX YEARS) it also mentioned (30th DAY OF JUNE UNTIL 6 YRS THEREAFTER).
3. it also mentioned (FOR MORE THAN FOUR YRS).. I think it is just clear that erap can still run–because the constitution mentioned the number of years in office even 3 times.
I think with what the constitution stated, it is more democartic to allow erap to run for office and hear the voice of the people.
