Denver Broncos vs Baltimore Ravens
It’s the Broncos vs Ravens in the opening of National Football League (NFL) week 8 tomorrow, November 1, 2009. Fans can watch live at M&T Bank Stadium or at CBS at 1:00 PM.
Broncos vs Ravens Preview
Both teams had a very good start of 3-0, but since then, things went differently and these two team have separated ways. While the Broncos sustained their winning streak to 6-0, the Baltimore sufferred from three consecutive losses and fell down to 3-3.
Broncos on winning streak
Although some people believe early on that the first three victories of the Bronchos are just products of weak opponents, the next three wins somehow told brand new stories. With Josh McDaniels taking over as the offensive coordinator, and Kyle Orton throwing six touchdowns and completing 70% of his passes in victories over Dallas, New England and San Diego, the Broncos are certainly the talk of the AFC at this moment.
“Now we are a target. We are not under the radar. … Everyone is going to give us our best shot, so we’ve got to be prepared for it,” outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil said.
In 1998, the Bronchos had a 13-0 start, enabling them to make it all the way to the super bowl.
“A quarterback ultimately gets judged by that and wins and losses. So, Kyle obviously has done a nice job so far,” McDaniels said.
Ravens Sorry Losses
On the other, the three losses of the Ravens had a deficit of 6 points or less. For this season, Baltimore has given up 6 pass plays of 40 or more yards, wherein three of those came in the second half of a 33-31 defeat at Minnesota. For Coach John Harbaugh, this issue has to be resolved. “Big plays are the problem. If we continue to give up big plays, we’re going to continue to struggle,” Harbaugh said.
“The Broncos are going to test everybody’s pass protection, for sure. What makes them good is they beat blocks one-on-one. They do a nice job of bull-rushing, and they do a nice job of getting on edges. They’re relentless, they never stop and they’ve got some talented, fast guys,” Harbaugh added.
Your Broncos vs Ravens Predictions
Now, what’s your prediction? Who do you think will be the winner? Will Broncos continue the winning streak or the Ravens stop the lossing skid? For sure, the final results and scores of this games are the things we all want to find out. Stay tuned for updates.
