Update: Vikings win over Green Bay Packers, 38-26
Vikings vs Packers Preview
The Minnesota Vikings will try to regain its winning touch as they face Green Bay Packers who are coming off a victory over the Cleveland Browns. Although the Vikings lost to Super Bowl Champions Pittsburgh Steelers, they still enjoy a pretty good standing with a record of 6-1. The Packers on the other hand banner a 4-2 slate. Fans can watch this NFL game live, today November 1, 2009 at Lambeau Field or at Fox, 4:15 PM.
However, Vikings will be playing without Pro Bowl cornerback Antoine Winfield in their pivotal NFC North game on Sunday. “It’s hard to replace a Pro Bowl corner in our league that does all the things that Antoine does for our defense, but it was great to see Paymah, Asher and Benny step in and play the way they played. We are going to need it again this week,” said defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier.
On the other hand, Coach Mike McCarthy plans to be unpredictable with his offensive line on their encounter with the Minnesota Vikings. “I have some options,” McCarthy said Friday. But then, the coach reiterated that Barbre Barbre remains the starter at right tackle. “We’ve got to make sure Mark’s ready to play, and Allen Barbre needs to continue to improve and keep his job,” McCarthy added.
