Team Powerade Pilipinas beats Chinese Taipe, 77-70 in the second round of Fiba Asia 2009 at Tianjin, China on August 10.

With less than half a minute in the game, PBA two-time MVP Willie Miller drained a three-point-shot that gave Team Philippines a secured 5-point-lead, 75-70.

But then, it was James Yap’s hot shooting hands that sparked the Filipinos, scorching 15 of his game-high 23 points and edged the Chinese-Taipei on the third quarter, 29-19.

Tomorrow, Philippines will be clashing with Asian Powerhouse Iran at 11am.
